Power Climber developed a fully adjustable platform to maintain the surface of the Ericsson Globe powered by track-mounted trolleys driven by Titan 650 kg hoists to traverse the spherical shape. Designed and built in our Belgian manufacturing center, the custom-engineered system saved many man-weeks of installation time of the newly opened Sky-View attraction. Nicknamed in Swedish Globen, "The Globe" is the national indoor arena of Sweden, located in Stockholm and is the largest hemispherical building in the world. Shaped like a large golf ball, it has a diameter of 361 ft (110 m), an inner height of 279 ft (85 m), and a seating capacity for 16,000 spectators for concerts and 14,000 for hockey.
