Peter Dobbelsteyn
General Manager
Peter Dobbelsteyn joined the SafeWorks team as the GM in October, 2020. Peter spent 20 years
with General Electric in progressive leadership roles in the power generation industry. Peter
was most recently the Regional Director for GE Power Services, overseeing the Western U.S.
region for the Gas & Steam Turbine Maintenance business. As Regional Director, Peter successfully
lead one of the largest North American regions consisting of 13 States, with an install base
of ~350 power plants (2000 units), driving financial growth, operational excellence, rigor
and compliance on 5 key operational metrics: Safety / Quality / Cycle / Cost / Productivity.
Peter completed his studies in Business & Supply Chain Management at the University of Alberta
and also received his SCMP accreditation as a supply chain management professional. He most
recently completed his MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University.
Jean-Pierre Blain
SafeWorks CFO
Jean-Pierre Blain joined SafeWorks in 2003.
Greg Crew
Vice President of Global Product Management
Gregory Crew joined SafeWorks in 2007 and has held progressive management roles, currently
Vice President Global Product Management where he is responsible for the marketing and
management of SafeWorks' global product line. Previous roles with SafeWorks include Product
Manager for the wind segment followed by Director of Global Product Management. He has been
a key contributor to SafeWorks' growth, notably in turbine service lifts and IBEX® climb
assist products. Prior to joining SafeWorks, Gregory held senior management positions at
Nordic Energy and Nordic Windpower. He has a bachelor’s degree in international relations
from Brown University and a master’s degree in international business and finance from the
Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris.
James Koker
Vice President and General Manager - Spider Operations
James Koker joined SafeWorks in 2007.
Colby Hubler
Vice President Global Sales – Power Climber & Power Climber Wind
Colby Hubler joined SafeWorks in May 2012 as Key Account Manager for its wind segment. He quickly progressed
to Sales Manager then Sales Director and now serves as Vice President Global Sales, responsible for the
success of the Power Climber and Power Climber Wind brands globally. Prior to joining SafeWorks, Colby
spent eleven years with Mill Direct, most recently as Sales Director. With 24 years of sales experience,
Colby is gifted at developing strong key account relationships. He serves on the Scaffold and Access Industry
Association executive committee as Treasurer and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington,
Seattle.
