President and Chief Executive Officer
Scott Farrell joined SafeWorks in November 2002 as Executive Vice President and
subsequently served as Chief Operating Officer prior to assuming the role of President
and CEO. Before joining SafeWorks, Mr. Farrell was General Manager with Fluke Corporation
(a Danaher company), the global leader in electronic hand-held test instruments,
and President and CEO of Zoneworx, a venture capital funded factory automation controls
company. He also spent 17 years with Eaton Corporation in sales management, marketing,
and general management roles. Mr. Farrell received a bachelor's degree in engineering
and a master's degree in business administration from Michigan State University.
Executive Vice President, General Manager, and Chief Financial Officer
Greg Kennelly joined the SafeWorks’ executive team in 2003 as Chief Financial Officer. Greg was promoted to the
role of Executive Vice President and General Manager in early 2017. Prior to joining SafeWorks, Mr. Kennelly
spent 11 years with General Electric where he held a number of financial and strategic planning positions in the
U.S. and Asia, graduated from its Financial Management Program, and served on its Corporate Audit Staff. Mr. Kennelly
graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor's degree in economics.
Vice President of Global Engineering
Vishnu Irigireddy joined the SafeWorks leadership team in 2016. As Vice President
of Global Engineering, he is responsible for all product-related engineering functions
including new product innovation and development, technology roadmapping, and management
of intellectual property. Mr. Irigireddy brings more than 16 years of senior leadership
experience in engineering and strategic growth, most recently serving as Director
of Global R&D at Apex Tool Group where he accelerated corporate growth through acquisitions
and new product development while leading a global team of engineers in mechanical,
electrical, and software functions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
from the National Institute of Technology, India, a master’s degree in mechanical
engineering from the University of Missouri, and a master’s of business administration
degree with a concentration in finance from Millikin University in Illinois. He
is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and champion of the continuous improvement
Vice President - Supply Chain and International
Michael Moritz joined SafeWorks in April 2006 as Global Director of Supply Chain.
Mr. Moritz has over 25 years of progressive operational experience. In his previous
roles as Director of Materials at Microscan Industries, and as Manufacturing Manager
at Liberty Technologies, he was responsible for supply chain, manufacturing, and
engineering services. Mr. Moritz has developed systems and programs that accelerate
the value of a global supplier base and ensure best in class quality and performance.
He earned an associate’s degree in electronics, as well as a bachelor’s degree in
management and a master’s degree in business administration degree from Philadelphia
Vice President of Global Product Management
Greg Crew joined SafeWorks in 2007 and has held progressive management roles, currently Vice President
of Global Product Management where he is responsible for the marketing and management of SafeWorks'
global product line. Previous roles with SafeWorks include Product Manager for the wind segment followed
by Director of Global Product Management. He has been a key contributor to SafeWorks' growth, notably in
turbine service lifts and IBEX® climb assist products. Prior to joining SafeWorks, Mr. Crew held
senior management positions at Nordic Energy and Nordic Windpower. He has a bachelor’s degree in international
relations from Brown University and a master’s degree in international business and finance
from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris.
Vice President and General Manager - Spider Operations
David Beckett joined SafeWorks in 2015 as Vice President and General Manager of
Spider Operations. During his 26 year tenure with Otis Elevator Company, a unit
of United Technologies Corporation, Mr. Beckett held multiple roles including General
Management of Sales and Operations in Seattle and New York City, and most recently
Vice President of New Elevator Sales and Service, covering twelve Midwestern states.
He held P&L accountability for sales, installations, and aftermarket services created
by twenty-one business units and over one thousand employees, generating sales in
excess of $400 million annually. Mr. Beckett received a Bachelor of Commerce Degree
in Finance from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada, and a master’s degree in
business administration from Hofstra University, New York.
Vice President and General Manager - Power Climber and Power Climber Wind
John Sotiroff rejoined SafeWorks in 2017 as Vice President and General Manager of the
Power Climber and Power Climber Wind business segments, responsible for driving tactical sales growth
and developing strategies for accelerated global growth. Previously, Mr. Sotiroff spent ten
years with SafeWorks, serving as Vice President of Spider Sales and Distribution where he successfully
led the business through significant transformation and growth. Most recently, he served as President
and Chief Executive Office of Boulder Prime Consulting, specializing in strategic planning and sales
force management. Mr. Sotiroff has also held progressive sales management roles with ArvinMeritor
and its predecessor Rockwell International. He received both a bachelor's degree and a master's
degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.
